So uhm... this is part of a project by: , the idea is to revamp a retro show. So I choose Dungeons and Dragons. First character to revamp: Hank. The leader of the group and the oldest. For the revamp I was thinking of him as a surfer dude, who just moved to town, kinda hippie, caring and kind-hearted. He looks a little upset, but that's because he's sort of "boy-scout-protective" with his party. Here is my revamp version of Hank, the Ranger. In case you wonder... this is the original character--->[link] The original Hank, the ranger is property of Marvel comics and TSR, or whoever the owners are.
but the revamp ideas are mine muahahaha. Bobby & Uni: The Barbarian & The Unicorn --->[link] Diana: The Acrobat --->[link] Eric: The Cavalier --->[link]
it's hard to critique something that is clearly stylized, because i don't know what is intended or not, lol, but let me start by saying i like it. my only two critiques aren't major things, just little tweeks. his right foot seems awkwardly tilted, it should probably be foreshortened a bit, pointing more towards the viewer, given how his legs are standing. also, the armor on his left shoulder, the way u shaded it, it kind of appears to be too curved almost, in a way where it looks like it's actually curving into his body. like i said, hard to critique on anatomy or anything due to stylization, beyond what i said already, but i like it, good stuff
WOW thanks, I ahevn't noticed about the feet. Yeah the armour thingy... hahaha long story, I'm not so good at shading metal, but gonna try harder for the next time

Equality starts when you stop feeling so different from the others to claim for it.
well, the metal itself is shaded fine, it's just a little to dark, so it's more of a shading issue not specific to metal, if the the angle were different it'd be fine, lol. yeah, i have problems with feet too, so i look for it in my own stuff so i pick up on them in other peoples quick, haha. like i said, good piece overall, just a few little things to watch out for in general, hope they help!
not a problem, glad i could help. i'm actually doing this every tuesday now, so if you're interested, send me a note next time with links to pieces you'd want critiques for. i can definatly always get everyone one piece, but i still gotta go through notes ppl sent, haha, and sleep eventually.
